The Heart of Discipleship

The heart of Discipleship podcast exist to encourage and strengthen those who might be wondering "is there more to being a follower of Jesus".   So many people sit in the pew each week as consumers of the next best thing the church can come up with to keep their attention.  The reality is the church is not for that purpose.  The church of the new testament is called to be producers.  

Bo and Wes are both former pastors of the traditional church who have stepped away to pursue making disciples and being the church in simples ways. Each week they talk about the importance of making disciples and being the church in ways that are counter to the cultural norm but in keeping with the biblical model that Jesus demonstrated and the early followers continued.

If your a frustrated pastor in the prevailing model, a church goer each week longing for more, or you've been hurt by the church and decided to never go back but you love Jesus and want to following him faithfully then this podcast is for you.
